Love the colors in this bouquet! The blue orchids really set it off nicely.
The bride liked "bling" and wanted it incorporated into the centers of the stephanotis flowers.
A sparkly blinged out buckle added to the wrap completed the look.
The bridesmaids carried fluffy bouquets of blue hydrangea with accents of orchids and sparkly rhinestones. The stems were wrapped in purple polka dot ribbon. Too cute!
The groom had a fragrant boutonniere with 2 blue orchids and lavender flower. The fiddle fern added some whimsy.
Various boutonnieres for the bridal party and family members. Love the clusters of lavender. Smelled refreshing!
The couple were married at a private residence in Sebastopol on a gorgeoous spring day. The atmosphere was stunning with tall pine trees that had paper lanterns hung on the branches and a barn on the property.
The ceremony was held under a trellis in the gardens...very romantic! Congratulations to the happy couple.

Some HOT, hot pink Love in Sonoma!
![]() |
Kristi was a bride that I met through email 10 days before her wedding. Yes, 10 days! She was planning from Oregon. She knew her favorite flowers and was set on the colors of magenta and green. I quickly got a proposal together and we discussed budget. She had reached out to other florists in the surrounding Sonoma area for ideas and prices. I was happy to know I was somewhere in the middle price-wise of these other florists, but she wanted me. That made me super happy since I do look up to a lot of these other well known florists in Sonoma. The wedding was going to be at EDK in Sonoma (El Dorado Hotel and Kitchen). It is right in the heart of Sonoma on the famous square. Loved the quaint interior with the wall of logs and the cute displays of milk glass. Everyone was beyond friendly, especially Angie the wedding coordinator.
The guys boutonnieres were cute little bundles of ranunculas and berries.
Close up of ranunculas, anemonies, hypericum berries, kale, hydrangea, waxflower. Can't wait to post the professional shots of this pretty wedding when they come in.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game.

I am so excited that baseball season is upon us again, that I wanted to post some baseball inspired weddings. Too cute for the die-hard fan!

Check out these cake toppers.

Ingenious way to incorporate the theme without it looking like a kids birthday party.
Cute invitations. (Le penn design)
Wouldn't it be fun and different to have a popcorn bar with different seasonings and toppings for those late night snackers as they danced the night away.

Something Blue.

This couple chose beautiful flowers with lots of pop! The bride had her traditional "something Blue" as her bouquet.

For a personal touch she added a locket to the front of her wrap with a photo of her loved one. Such a sweet and special addition.

The Bridesmaids carried flowers in all shades of purple and lavender with green berry accents.

The colors stood out beautifully next to the dresses.

Close up of the bling accents of the brides bouquet and the grooms boutonniere.

Large bouquet for entry table, candy buffet and food tables.

Mother nature didn't get the memo. This was an outdoor wedding among the beautiful rolling hills Berkeley at the Brazilian Room.

No problem, we moved everything inside. The 2 topiaries flanked the large rock fireplace inside.

The rain eventually stopped and the Bride and Groom were able to take some photos outside.

The Flowergirl carried a cute lavender pomander ball.

The personal flowers were ivory with accents of lavender to tie in with the rest of the wedding party.

Guests were asked to write on polished river rocks that would decorate the couples home and garden. Such a cute twist on the traditional guest book.

The tables had floating candles with ivy and lavender orchids. They had a romantic glow at night along with the fireplace.

The candy table was a big hit with "kids" old and young!

Love is sweet for sure!

At the end of the night the Bride tossed this bouquet as the newlyweds left for the night.
